94A: Land Combat Support System Test Specialist
Major Duties: The land combat support system
(LCSS) test specialist supervises, operates, and performs
unit and direct support and general support (DS/GS) level
maintenance on Land Combat Support Systems. Duties for MOS
94A at each level of skill are:
- Skill Levels
- Skill Level 1 MOSC 94A1O. Operates
test station, AN/TSM-93 (LCSS).
- Skill Level 2 MOSC 94A2O. Operates
and performs unit and direct support and general support
(DS/GS) level maintenance on test station, AN/TSM–93
(LCSS) and shop equipment, AN/TSM-94 (RGS).
- Skill Level 3 MOSC 94A3O. Supervises
unit and DS/GS level maintenance of LCSS.
Physical demands rating and qualifications for initial
award of MOS. The land combat support system (LCSS) test
specialist must possess the following qualifications:
(1) Physical Demands Rating:
moderately heavy
(2) Physical Profile: 212221
(3) Normal color vision.
(4) Minimum score of 110 in aptitude
area EL.
(5) A security clearance of SECRET.
(6) A U.S. citizen.
(7) Formal training (completion of MOS 94A course conducted
under the auspices of the U.S. Army Ordnance Missile and Munitions
Center and School) mandatory; or waiver issued by Commandant,
USAOMMCS, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35895-6100); or meet the civilian
acquired skills criteria listed in AR 601-210.
MOS 94A was known as 35B before fiscal year 2006.
