96Z: Intelligence Senior Sergeant


Major Duties: The intelligence senior sergeant supervises intelligence surveillance, collection, analysis, processing, and distribution activities at group, division, corps, Army, and comparable or higher echelons. Supervises activities pertaining to organization and training of tactical and technical operations. Supervises intelligence, operations and training. Coordinates operating requirements of subordinate units with major supported units. Supervises intelligence operations in Corps and echelon above corps (EAC) analysis and control elements (ACE).

Physical demands rating and qualifications for initial award of MOS. The intelligence senior sergeant must possess the following qualifications:

(1) Physical Demands Rating: N/A

(2) Physical Profile: 222221

(3) Minimum score in aptitude area: N/A

(4) The soldier must meet TOP SECRET security clearance and Sensitive Compartmented information (SCI) access eligibility requirements.

(5) The soldier must be a U.S. citizen.

(6) Soldier and spouse must not have immediate family members who reside in a country within whose boundaries physical or mental coercion is known to be common practice, either against—

(a) Persons accused of or acting in the interest of the U.S.

(b) The relatives of such persons to whom they may reasonably be considered to be bound by ties of affection, kinship, or obligation. Near relatives will also include uncles, aunts, grandparents, father-in-law, mother-in-law, and relationships corresponding to any of the above persons in loco parentis.

(7) Meet career management and development criteria contained in AR 614-200.

(8) Normal color vision.

(9) Be advised that due to the nature of training and assignments, temporary restrictions may be placed on foreign travel both during and after the term of service.
