Basic Training Journal: Friday, August 29th

We got our class As today/phase 2 issue. We marched from our barracks to 30th AG/reception because that's where we get fitted. We got our class A jacket, shirts, undershirts, trousers, belt, sock liners, shoes, garrison hat, all weather coat(trench coat), etc. It took almost all day since there is a lot of waiting involved. We also had to march back to our barracks for breakfast, we didn't eat at the reception DFAC for whatever reason. We had field chow for lunch and we ate right outside the reception DFAC. I guess they're not supposed to feed us once we ship downrange.

After we got all of our issue we went back to our barracks for dinner, you know the rest.
