of Engineers: Field Operating Activites
- Finance Center, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - The accounting and financial services arm of the USACE. Site includes publications, electronic forms, information papers and statistics.
- Humphries Engineer Center Support Activity - Provides administrative and operational support for HQUSACE and Corps FOAs in the NCR. HECSA manages the Humphreys Engineer Center (HEC) and provides administrative support to tenants. Additionally, the HECSA Counsel Office is responsible for Intellectual Property Programs for the Corps of Engineers.
- Institute for Water Resources (IWR) - Provides the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with water resources development planning. Provides news, events, publications and resources.
- Marine Design Center - The Corps of Engineers center of expertise and experience for the development and application of innovative strategies and technologies for naval architecture and marine engineering. Provides information on project management, including planning, engineering, and shipbuilding contract management in support of Corps, Army, and national water resource projects in peacetime, and augments the military construction capacity in time of national emergency or mobilization.
- 249th Engineer Battalion - Prime Power - Information on the prime power program, loan school, and batallion contacts and activities. Headquartered at Ft. Belvoir, VA, the battalion generates and distributes prime electrical power in support of warfighting, disaster relief, stability and support operations as well as provides advice and technical assistance in all aspects of electrical power and distribution systems. It also maintains Army power generation and distribution war reserves.
