  • Presidio of Monterey, CA - News, history, and command information for base which serves as the Defense Department’s primary foreign language teaching and resource center.

  • Air Force Element - The (AFELM) is a selectively manned organization representing HQ USAF as an integral part of the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC). The AFELM provides command guidance, language instruction, course evaluation, school administration, and staff support to joint military and interagency civilian linguists critical to national security interests.
  • European and Latin American School - Mission: responsible for conducting Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, German, Polish, and Czech language instruction to assigned military personnel from both the Cryptological Training System (CTS) and the General Intelligence Training System (GITS) of the four military services.
  • Headquarters Company (HHC), US Army Element, Defense Language Institute Foreign Language - HHC conducts and provides command and control, military training, language, administration and logistical support reinforcing the academic and installation mission of the DLIFLC & POM.
